When the checks stop paying the minimum due on the 21% interest rate credit card or when the OMG ARM mortgage goes up exactly like it said it would in the document I signed thats when we are financially insecure. Financial security is a paycheck.

My mortgage is less than half the value of my house (thanks GWB!) , I carry no credit card debt, I own my cars. My savings, including 401K, IRAs and other investments have been growing on a quarterly basis (thanks again GWB!) so I could pay off my outstanding debt, including mortgage, without touching much of the principle.

I have a stable job in a a stable industry. I have an excellent education in a career that is in demand.

There is no such thing however as Fascist corporate Capitalism. You should study more about the US. Maybe you can get a visa and visit or study here to see that your preconceived ideas about this nation are false.

Sounds to me like you didn’t realize “Equal” meant equal opportunity instead of if I don’t have, you are supposed to give me. If your picture isn’t good, realize you have have made bad choices and have negative consequences as a result of that, and change things.

I paid off a 30 year mortgage in 5 years, saved a bunch of interest by doing that, had a job with an excellent retirement plan, actually retired early, started social security when I could and I’m not doing bad at all, thank you. I pay my credit card bills in full when they come in, have a totally free checking account that pays interest on the balance, and own my own business. If any aspect of the business doesn’t make a profit, I make changes until it does.

Turn off the computer, and start on your own personal road to financial security.

My first job was a bill collector by phone on dead beat accounts, that showed me that if I couldn’t pay for I couldn’t afford it.

If I didn’t have it this good, I wouldn’t work here. Nobody is forced to work for corporate America. If corporate America did not provide jobs at a reasonable rate, then the employees wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) work there.
